Exploring The Noa Mattress Range
Here’s a quick overview of the 3 Noa mattresses. The best seller is the flagship model, the Noa. The Lite is great if you’re on a tight budget, and the Noa Luxe represents a great step up in features for not too much more money.
Noa Lite

Noa Lite Mattress – A Budget-Friendly Choice
Great quality for a cheap price. silky soft cover, cooling memory foam and pocket coil support. The firmest of the Noa range due to fewer foam layers.
- Price range: $699 – $999 (Before sale discounts)
- Hand-tufted tencel knit cover. What does that mean? Hand tufting is a quality feature that shows attention to detail and helps hold your mattress together. You get a silky soft and breathable cover.
- First foam layer: a thin layer of gel memory foam. There for contouring and cooling, the memory foam cushions your body weight while the gel beads help keep you cool.
- Second foam layer: a thicker layer of transition foam: this is a high-density foam that acts as a buffer between the memory foam and the coils, and helps minimise partner disturbance.
- The support core of the mattress is pocket coils (individually wrapped springs) encased in foam. The foam encasing is another quality feature that helps ensure the durability of your mattress, and I’ve seen way more expensive brands omitting this vital durability feature. These are great for Singapore because coils = air circulation, just what you need in a humid climate.
- Because there are just the 2 foam layers inside the Lite, it’s the firmest of the Noa range and is my recommendation for back and stomach sleepers.
The Noa Mattress – The Flagship Model
The original mattress that elevated Noa to its popular status and the “mid-range” model of the mattresses. Has a cooling latex layer and thicker memory foam than the lite. Has a more universally comfortable, slightly more plush feel than the Lite
- Price range: $799 – $1199 (Before sale discounts)
- Like the Lite, the Noa also features that beautiful hand-tufted tencel knit cover. You get breathability and a soft fee.
- First foam layer: latex foam. This is the main point of difference to the Lite. Designed for pressure relief, bounce AND cooling, it’s the perfect layer to have directly under the cover, particularly in a country like Singapore where you want cooling mattress layers as close to your body as possible. Latex is well known for being one of the best cooling foams. It’s also really durable
- Second foam layer: gel memory foam. This is the same foam as in the Noa Lite, but it’s a thicker layer, adding to the more plush feel. This layer is designed for contouring and cooling, the memory foam responds to your body weight while the gel beads draw out heat.
- Third foam layer: a thicker layer of transition foam: this is a high-density foam designed to act as a buffer between the memory foam and the coils, and also helps minimise partner disturbance.
- The support core of the mattress is pocket coils (individually wrapped springs) encased in foam. The foam encasing is another quality feature that helps ensure the durability of your mattress.
- Firmness: the Noa has an additional foam layer and a thicker memory foam layer than the Lite, which gives it a more plush feel. You’ll get a bit more contouring and softness here but you won’t miss out on support. The firmness rating of the Noa is suited to most people, including side sleepers.
Noa Luxe Mattress Premium Comfort And Features
TLDR: this is my favourite of the Noa range because I think it’s got the most features for your money along with that universally comfortable plush feel of the Noa. Here you get a layer of microcoil support AND zoning in the core of the mattress for a truly luxurious sleep experience.
- Price range: $1099 – $1699
- Like the others, the Noa Luxe has the same silky tencel cover.
- First foam layer: a thin layer of gel memory foam. This layer is designed for contouring and cooling, the memory foam responds to your body weight while the gel beads draw out heat.
- Second foam layer: latex. Unlike the latex in the Noa, the latex you’ll find in the Luxe has been infused with Bamboo and Charcoal. This really ups the performance of the latex, increasing its ability to cool, draw away moisture, and repel odours.
- Third comfort layer: this is my favourite feature of the Noa Luxe. You’ve got micro coils! These are very small individually wrapped springs (like what you usually find in the core of a mattress but smaller). Noa markets them as providing “advanced comfort” and having slept on a microcoil mattress myself, I 100% agree with them.
- Fourth layer: the same transition foam you see across all Noa mattresses. This is a high-density foam designed to act as a buffer between the comfort layers above and the support core below. It also helps minimise partner disturbance.
- The support core of the mattress is zoned pocket coils (individually wrapped springs) encased in foam. The Luxe is the only one of the range to feature zoning, which means softer coils around your pressure points (shoulders, hips) for optimal spinal alignment and comfort. It’s a really nice feature. The foam encasing is another quality feature that helps ensure the durability of your mattress.
- The sides of the mattress cover also features that soft tencel fabric with hand-tufted finishes, which is something not all brands offer around the sides of the mattress and almost certainly not at this price point. Again, this helps the mattress maintain its shape.
- Firmness: the Noa Luxe has a universally comfortable feel, much like the Noa. However, you’re going to get more targeted support thanks to those microcoils and the zoning in the core. I think this mattress is going to feel amazingly comfortable and is pretty hard to beat.
Comparing Comfort, Quality, And Value
The Noa Lite has the firmest feel due to having fewer foam layers than the other two models. The Noa and the Noa Luxe are more plush: both have a medium feel, even though their design is different from each other.
I think that all three mattresses are of exceptional quality. All Noa mattresses feature beautiful finishing touches such as hand tufting through their covers and foam protection of the coil support core. I’ve seen and tried a lot of mattresses, and you can trust me when I say that seeing these kinds of features at this price point is a very pleasant surprise.
In terms of value, I feel you’re really getting what you pay for here. The entire range is priced well, and the increases for the different designs of each mattress make sense. There are plenty of other brands where they charge an extra $500 just for adding cooling to the cover, or other gimmicky things that don’t make much difference to the overall mattress. With Noa you can clearly see what you’re paying for at each level.
Why I Like Noa Luxe The Best
- Still amazing value for money even though it’s the most expensive of the three
- I LOVE the microcoils, they’re my favourite type of mattress comfort layer
- The bamboo and charcoal-infused latex is a nice feature
- The zoned support coils are the ultimate in core support
Comments from real customers based in Singapore
Don’t just take my word for it, let’s look at what other customers have to say. At the time of writing this article, the Noa Lite had a review score of 4.8 out of 5 from 100 reviewers. The Noa is the best seller so it had more reviews: it also scores 4.8, from 739 reviewers. The Noa Luxe has just 23 reviews at the moment and also scores 4.8.
Noa Lite Buyers Said:
- It’s a great mattress for the price
- Firm feeling, especially to start with
- Good quality
- Some negatives people mentioned were that it was hotter to sleep on than they were expecting and that it was thinner.
Noa Buyers Said:
- Very happy with the mattress for the price
- Good customer service and fast delivery
- Sleep has improved and support from the mattress is great for their backs
- The one negative about the mattress that I could find was that one person found it was a bit softer than they’d like. This is to be expected as we all experience mattresses differently, and is why you have a home sleep trial
Noa Luxe Buyers Said:
- It has the luxurious feel they were expecting
- The support is good and feels targeted to their body when they lie on it
- It’s soft to the touch but has a good firmness to it when you lie down
- Amazing value for money
- Some people reported that they were concerned it was too soft for the first few days, but then they found it incredibly comfortable and supportive.
Noa Mattresses: The Verdict
Most of what I’ve said here about Noa mattresses is positive, so it’s no surprise to you at this point that I’m happy to recommend them to you.
I think Noa does an amazing job of making high-quality mattresses with thoughtful finishes and features for a price which is, quite honestly, very cheap. I think it’s going to be hard to find better value for money for a hybrid mattress.
The only negative that came up from a few reviewers was that the Noa Lite can feel a bit hot to sleep on, so if you sleep hot you should look at the Noa or Noa Luxe, as they both contain latex which is a better cooling foam than memory foam.
My pick of the range is the Noa Luxe for its incredible comfort layers including microcoils, but I think you’ll be happy with your Noa mattress no matter which one you choose.
